Mondays

Art Explorers Ages 3 - 4 yrs, 4-5:00pm

Creativity abounds in this fun, exploratory class for your little ones. Caregivers and children create together using a variety of mediums such as paint, crayons, markers, and papercrafts in a safe and nurturing environment. Share the joy and excitement of art with a child, and bring home new creations each week to be treasured for a lifetime. Members: $65, Non-Members: $70. Am I required to sit in on my student's class or is it optional?
This age group ranges from youth who have been in a school setting to those who have not. Therefore, we provide the option for caregivers to stay both onsite and within the room for ages 3-4. Students do not need to be accompanied, but can if the family chooses. Families may wait outside in the waiting area once their child is comfortable. Instructors will work to meet the goals set in place by each family on an individual basis.

Learn to Sew Ages 9-12, 4-5:30 pm

Get ready for a fun creative experience at our studio benches! Students learn the fundamentals of sewing to create a variety of handmade items. Our sessions are beginner-friendly and suitable for all interest levels.Session is 4 - weeks. Members: $90, Non-Members: $100, Trial $25.Register HERE 1 seat left 

Introduction to Drawing & Painting Ages 12 - 17 , 4:00-5:30 pm

Get ready for a fun creative experience at our studio benches! Students learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting in a variety of media. Demonstrations on proportion, design, and composition help young artists develop their talents and skills. Our sessions are beginner-friendly and suitable for all interest levels.

Teen Pottery Ages 12 - 17 yrs, 3:30 - 5:30 pm

October 23, 2024 - December 11, 2024 (No Class 11/27)
Do you have a hands-on learner? One who loves to work with tools with interest in the art of throwing clay? Open the door to our clay studio for students to create their own clay bowls, pots, and altered free forms. They will learn how to decorate, glaze, and fire their artwork in our kiln in a safe environment in a 7-week course of study.  Members: $160 Non-Members $175 Trial $25.   Register HERE

Homeschoolers Arts Adventure Ages 4-12 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Students explore the masters, nature, stories, and traditions in this weekly adventure! Participants will create drawings, paintings, fabric art, clay sculptures, and so much more!

Learn To Draw  Ages 5 -12  4-5:30pm 
Instructor: James Brunelle 
November 15, 2024 - January 10, 2024 (No Class 11/29, 12/27)
Working with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, and markers James will lead students into the joy of drawing. They will have a blast as they sharpen their drawing skills inprired by plants, animals, characters, places, and people. James will teach students about design, form, and shape. As well as how to produce cartoon, realistic, and creative illustrations they will be proud of.   Members: $160, Non-Members $175, Trial/day Rate $25 FULL

Everything is more fun when you share it with a friend. Let us give you the opportunity to share SoCCA with others. Bring a friend to an art class and let them experience the fun! Be a part of building our community of passionate artists. Families must call us at 860-276-1581 or email us with 24 hour notice to bring a buddy during one of your seven classes. participate in a 'bring a friend day. Last-minute drop-offs are not permitted.
