Polymer Clay Sculpting Workshops with Deb Jaffe

Cameo Meets Picasso.jpgMay 2, 16:30 - 8:30pm  Polymer Clay Sculpting pARTy Workshop: The Cameo Meets Picasso - A mother of a good time creating with guided instruction using colorful polymer clay.
This B.Y.O.B. (bring your own beverage) Clay Session is a great way to start the week with some fun.  All while creating something unique for Mom or others dear.
The topic:  Cameo - a piece of jewelry, typically oval in shape, consisting of a portrait in profile carved in relief on a background of a different color.
The creative twist: Meets Picasso - An avant-garde abstract or cubist representation of a neoclassical colorful portrait from the blue or rose period.

Indoor Drum Circle with Eric Korp

Friday April 29th, 7-8:30pm

Jam with the fam! Gather the entire family young and old for the last Friday in the Hopko Performance Hall/Gallery. All ages and abilities are welcome for an open drum circle with demonstrations and instructional elements such as how to hold the drum, introduction to different tones and sounds, and an introduction to new and unique instruments. Participants can expect to be part of strong pulsating rhythms, soft melodic harmonies, and fast and furious intense soul burners. A true drum circle experience for players of all ages and abilities.

Needle Felting Birds Workshop: COMING SOON
Learn needle felting techniques with roving wool and the basic needs to create a seasonal creatures. A beginner friendly workshop, inviting all levels of interest to cover the basic skills to get busy and creative sculpting wool. This step by step workshop is designed for each student to complete and take home a project within the session. A relaxing, enjoyable and creative art form for having fun in the studio. Members $40, Non-Members $45. Sign up with a friend (or more) and receive the Member’s price. Tuition includes materials for one project!
