Refunds & Class Credit Policy

Postponed Classes (weather or instructor absence):
Class will be extended an additional week. The tentative end date is adjusted/ delayed.

Refunds:
Memberships- Non Refundable 
Classes and workshops not attended- Cash payments eligible for a refund. All other payments will receive a gift certificate for the classes not attended. 
Refund are NOT given if you leave your class early.

Class Credit: This policy is in place to ensure participants are always getting what they have paid for by receiving a gift certificate.
-The participant is sick or has an unexpected schedule change and the absence is reported before the start of class or workshop. 
-Instructor absence/ weather has altered the tentative end date and you can not attend the remaining classes and fulfill the new schedule. 

Credit NOT given if...
you leave your class early.
you have neglected to inform us via phone or email
you have attended the 7 classes you've paid for

Severe Weather Cancelations

Adult Classes: SoCCA’s policy for closing due to weather conditions follows:

• Await email notification & visit our Facebook page for updates.
  • Haven't recived notification? Contact the director at 860-620-4818, call or text.

Youth Classes: SoCCA follows the Southington Public School decisions for weekday Youth Classes- Thank you for understanding! 

• All day school closings - All of SoCCA’s classes are postponed
• 2 hour morning delay - SoCCA’s morning classes are postponed
• Early dismissal - SoCCA’s afternoon and evening classes postponed
• Email notification & Facebook update will alert partipants/families of schedule adjustments.

Postponed sessions will resume the following week and make-up sessions will occur extending the semester.  Most importantly - be safe, and enjoy inspiration from a winter landscape!

Art Classes for Veterans

Thanks to several funding organizations, SoCCA offers free art classes to Veterans. We thank ALL for their service and dedication to our country. Our goal is to always provide free art classes in painting and drawing for veterans.  Each Tuesday (except for major holidays), 10:00am - 12:00noon.

Participants will be offered demonstrations, instruction and hands on activities including Painting, Drawing, and Collage with Instructor, Susan Brereton.
