These photographs were created in the 1970’s and have been with me ever since… packed away in closets, carried through many moves, waiting quietly for their moment.
Now, newly matted and framed, they step back into the light.
Through black and white photography, I found a way to share what I saw in shadows, shapes, and silver tones by producing classic images, as well as making playful puddle galaxies and butterfly wing tulips
Incorporating traditional and non-traditional materials and processes, I created these images from exposure to print. Sadly, the negatives are lost so it is not possible to reproduce them which makes each image unique.
I am both proud and excited to finally share these images, preserved by time, alive again in the present.
