Seat Of Our Pants (SOOP) has been playing their own brand of contemporary acoustic folk by the “seat of their pants” since 2011, and having a whole heck of a lot of fun doing it…but don’t let that name fool you. Humble beginnings and word of mouth accolades have propelled them to venues throughout Connecticut and beyond, rapidly making them a household name on the Americana scene. With 2 CDs under their belt, they are currently working on their first all original CD, “Songs Of Rabble And Roots”, which they hope to release by this fall. They feature Mark Hall on lead vocals and cajon, Michael Frantzen on fiddle, Jeff Gorman on bass, and Carolyn Brodginski on lead vocals and whichever stringed instrument she decides to bring along for the night. Their songs are heartfelt and humorous, and harmonies are heavenly. With the perfect combination of acoustic instruments and band chemistry, they blend musically and genuinely enjoy performing together leaving audiences feeling they were a part of a something special.
